Details
The embossing of Braille fonts on the pharmaceutical packaging has recently become mandatory for cardboard packing of medications. This technological operation, when performed on a die-cutting press, becomes costly, unreliable in quality and requires a long adjustment times.
This kind of embossing is much more economical on a folder gluer or on a separate offline machine. Polish company Versor Engineering has developed and successfully supplies the module for embossing Braille fonts for its folder gluers or as a separate machine.
It is advisable to combine an embossing module with a Versor Inspector system for automatic quality control and box sorting.
Versor BrailleMatic Braille Stamping Module
It is installed after the feeder of the folding-gluing machine, and after the Vaccumatic module, which ensures precise alignment of workpieces before feeding into the embossing zone. Symbols are drawn using shafts with cylinders equipped with a rotational typesetting font and matrix.
The module has a design with servomotors and provides complete synchronization with the operation of falsification. In the process, the cylinders with dies are cleaned with compressed air.
The module is controlled via the touch panel.
