Polish manufacturer of folding and gluing machines Versor has developed quality control and sorting systems for cardboard packaging.
The system scans each box with a high-speed high-resolution camera, the control computer compares box image with a previously scanned image or with a pdf file. When a defective blank detected, an ejector is triggered and the defective box sorted out.
The system checks the boxes according to the following criteria:
- Text - for example, the absence of character elements;
- Color Deviation Delta E;
- Material defects, such as contamination;
- Printing defects, such as spots;
- Errors in finishing processes, such as scratches, creases, etc .;
- Checks Braille embossing elements.
Off-line box quality control system Versor Inspeed 55/80
This configuration is built as a stand alone machine for checking the quality of boxes.
The machine has feeder, vacuum table for transporting blanks under the camera lens, scanning camera, high-speed flash, control system computer with software, box ejector, deliervy conveyor. An optional vacuum table with an ink-jet printer for personalization can be installed.
Inline box quality control system Versor Inspector 55/80/100
This is an inspection module which can be installed before folder-gluer of any manufacturer.
The machine has a feeder, vacuum table for transporting blanks under the camera lens, scanning camera, high-speed flash, control computer with software, box ejector, and a connection section for folder-gluer.
